Tripwire Interactive has announced that Killing Floor 3 will launch on March 25 for PC, PS5, and Xbox Series X|S. There will also be a closed beta test for the game that runs from February 20-24.

Those who are interested in the closed beta will need to sign up via the Killing Floor 3’s official website. Killing Floor 3 takes place in 2091, 70 years after the events of Killing Floor 2. The mega-corporation Horzine has created Zeds, a race of subservient and bioengineered zombies. A rebel group called Nightfall must fight back against the Zeds in order to save humanity.

There are a lot of politics in House of the Dragon, but until Season 2, the two sides have been very clear. There’s Rhaenyra (Emma D’Arcy), Vicerys’ (Paddie Considine) eldest child and the named heir to the Iron Throne on one side, and then there’s Aegon (Tom Glynn-Carney), Vicerys’ eldest son who usurped the throne after Vicerys’ death in Season 1 on the other. Rhaenyra supporters are labeled as “Team Black” while the Aegon fans fall under “Team Green.”

Up until now, the narrative was a choice between the rightful heir and the political maneuvering of Team Green. Rhaenyra and Alicent have been struggling to prevent an all-out war, but everything changed in Episode 4. The first battles of the Targaryen civil war erupted, marking a pivotal moment that irrevocably altered Rhaenyra’s course for the Iron Throne. In colloquial terms, s–t just got real.

It’s been almost a half decade since Disney purchased Fox’s entertainment assets and reclaimed the cinematic rights to the X-Men. Since then, there have only been a few sporadic hints at Marvel’s mutant heroes in the MCU aside from the upcoming Deadpool and Wolverine. Now, the X-Men MCU reboot movie finally has a screenwriter circling the project.

Via Deadline, Michael Lesslie is in talks to write the new X-Men film after Marvel took pitches from a number of screenwriters. Lesslie’s previous credits include The Hunger Games: The Ballad Of Songbirds & Snakes, the Assassins Creed movie, and The Little Drummer Girl TV miniseries.

While this is the first step forward for the next X-Men movie, it may still be a few years away at the earliest. But with a screenwriter in place, Marvel’s next step is to line up a director to develop the film alongside Lesslie. The original X-Men movie debuted in theaters in 2000 and helped paved the way for the MCU before the film franchise ran out of steam in 2019 with the box office disappointment of Dark Phoenix.

However, someone has apparently leaked the Echoes of Wisdom ROM weeks before the game’s scheduled release, which means spoilers for the game may already be circulating online.
