Internally, Bungie referred to it as “the next Destiny” instead of “Destiny 3.”When 17% of Bungie employees were let go from the recent restructuring, Destiny veterans including executive creative director Luke Smith and vice president Mark Noseworthy also departed. However, it was later clarified that they reportedly left on their own accord instead of as a result of the layoffs.Mobile versions of popular games have become increasingly popular.
