One of the biggest differences between The Rings of Power and The Lord of the Rings trilogy is that Sauron (Charlie Vickers) is at the forefront of the Prime Video show’s story. Season 1 featured Sauron hiding in plain sight as Halbrand, and now, in Season 2, he will unleash his villainous agenda. Additionally, the second season will give viewers a glimpse at how Sauron became the dark lord of Middle-earth.Via IGN, The Rings of Power Season 2 will flashback 1,000 years to the fall of Morgoth, the original dark lord of J.R.R. Tolkien’s fantasy world. In these scenes, young Sauron will be portrayed by Jack Lowden, and the show will also establish the beginning of his rivalry with Adar (Sam Hazeldine), the primary villain of Season 1. This sequence suggests that the reason why Adar didn’t recognize Sauron in Season 1 is because he had a different face during their first meeting. The video above features a glimpse of young Sauron, while also establishing that the dark lord will be spending a lot of time this season in his new persona: Annatar, the Lord of Gifts. Minnesota Governor Tim Walz is preparing to formally accept the Democratic party nomination for Vice President this week at the Democratic National Convention. And just before that happens, we may have learned more about his classic gaming habits.Following his selection as the running-mate for presumptive nominee Kamala Harris, a profile in the New York Times outed Walz as a Dreamcast fan. Players on the high school football team, where he coached, recalled him sharing stories that the kids found relatable, like when his wife took away his Dreamcast because he played it too much. Naturally this sparked speculation about what game had hooked him so deeply.IGN reports that it tracked down a series of subsequent owners of Walz’s Dreamcast, tracing it back to a man named Tom Johnson. Johnson worked as an intern for Walz’s congressional campaign, and one day Walz brought in a box of personal items he had planned to donate, but that the interns might like to use instead. Among them was a Dreamcast, which went mostly unused in the congressional office. Johnson ultimately took the Dreamcast with him to college and said that he recalls seeing a copy of Crazy Taxi already in the system when …

The rest of the trailer showed what appeared to be a moon cracking and dropping meteors on a nearby planet, with the destruction seemingly caused by the phoenix symbol. Spoilers for the end of Borderlands 3, which saw Lilith use her power as a Siren to stop Pandora’s moon from destroying the planet. Lilith succeeds, but she dies in the process. The moon cracking and dropping meteors on the planet in the Borderlands 4 trailer is seemingly from the same moment. The exact release date for Borderlands 4 wasn’t revealed, bu…
